In 1985, Bill began his financial advisor career at The Ohio Company in Columbus, Ohio. He continues to enjoy assisting clients in building portfolios structured for income and growth; in many cases, serving families through several generations. To help clients work toward their goals, he and his team customize strategies using varied investments including stocks, bonds, exchange-traded funds, annuities, mutual funds as well as fixed-income and alternative products. His services also include advising on retirement and estate planning strategies, assisting with long-term care insurance and providing second opinion analysis.
As clients work with Bill on their estate planning strategies, he encourages them to have professional reviews of insurance policies, wills and other legal documents. He helps them connect with related services through LPL Financial or a network of CPAs and attorneys. After each client agrees upon recommendations, he implements a plan for investments largely on a commission-free, fee-based basis.
A current member of the Lancaster Rotary Club, Bill has a history of active involvement in several Ohio communities. He was formerly board chairman at the Jerry Garver YMCA in Columbus as well as the Fairfield County’s Alcohol, Drug Addiction and Mental Health board. In his spare time, he enjoys golf, gardening and fishing, particularly at the Rockwell Springs Trout Club in Castalia. He also likes reading, watching sports and movies, and visiting clients and family in multiple states. Bill and his wife Maggie Sanese Weimer, both Muskingum College graduates, reside in Pickerington.
Bill holds the Series 65 financial license with Stratos Wealth Partners and the Series 7 with LPL Financial. He also has health and life insurance licenses. Bill currently is registered to do business in Ohio, Florida, Illinois, Maine and Massachusetts.
