Sean Laughlin is a Managing Director with Stratos Wealth Partners with more than 28 years of experience in the financial services industry.  A New Orleans native, Sean began his career with Shearson Lehman Brothers on the trading floor of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange in 1988 before becoming a Financial Advisor with Smith Barney in Oakbrook, Illinois.

Upon his return to New Orleans, Sean joined Hibernia Investment Securities as a Financial Advisor. While at Hibernia, he moved into a management role and eventually became a Senior Vice President with Capital One Investments, leading a team of more than 30 Financial Advisors. During his tenure at Capital One, Sean was recognized with numerous awards including the inaugural Capital One “Lead the Way” distinction in 2012.

Sean attained his undergraduate degree from Stanford University in Palo Alto, California.  He currently holds his FINRA Series 7, 24, and 63 Registrations with LPL Financial. Sean also holds his Series 65 Registered Investment Advisor License with the LPL financial and Stratos Wealth Partners.  He is registered with the State of Louisiana with a Life, Health and Annuity license as well.

Sean resides in New Orleans with his wife and two sons.  A diehard Saints fan (who was among the millions of people who claim to have been in Tulane Stadium for the first Saints game in 1967), he also enjoys golf, fishing, and traveling.
